چکیده

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is one of the popular materials that extensively used in different areas, so scientists are trying to investigate its characteristics formats, such as blends and composites, improve properties. Due distinctive nano particles’ properties, polymer-based nanocomposites can offer new pure polymers widen their applications areas. In this study, we added compositions silicon carbide (SiC) PVC molecular, thermal, microstructural Attenuated total reflection- infrared (ATR-IR), thermogravimetry (TG), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), optical microscopy (OM) were utilized study molecular bond structure, thermal degradation, caloric surface morphology composites. The first derivative TG results showed temperature maximum degradation increased with increasing SiC nanoparticle ratio. Also, it found PVC/12 mol% started at comparably low temperature, however, amount residue composites more than PVC. Additionally, nanoparticles caused melting slightly shifts a lower compared It was observed diminished smoothness by fraction composite.

Finite Element Modeling of the Vibrational Behavior of Single-Walled Silicon Carbide Nanotube/Polymer Nanocomposites

The multi-scale finite element method is used to study the vibrational characteristics of polymer matrix reinforced by single-walled silicon carbide nanotubes. For this purpose, the nanoscale finite element method is employed to simulate the nanotubes at the nanoscale. While, the polymer is considered as a continuum at the larger scale. The polymer nanotube interphase is simulated by spring ele...

development of different optical methods for determination of glucose using cadmium telluride quantum dots and silver nanoparticles

a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...

Chapter 1 Introduction to Silicon Carbide ( Sic ) Microelectromechanical Systems ( Mems )

This chapter serves as a brief introduction to the basic properties of silicon carbide (SiC) and the advantages of using SiC over other semiconductor materials for microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). Given the excellent and extensive review chapters that follow this one, I have confined this chapter to recent research performed at the University of Edinburgh in the area of SiC microelectrome...
